ORIGINAL WORK HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE

The week of January 2 to January 8 has been a stressful one, but there have been many accomplishments to accompany the challenges as well. This week, I wrote an interview assessment for my sixth informational interview, started my original work, and worked on my display board for the Frisco ISD Research Showcase. Additionally, I started to spread the word about the showcase by passing out the invitations. The biggest struggle this week was getting started on my original work. I had my proposal and idea set in my mind, but there was an indefinite amount of information that I could research. I kept asking myself on how I could create an artificial aorta, what materials I could use, who I could interview next, what I should write in my paper. Although my original work is being a hassle, an accomplishment that I achieved this week is the display board for the research showcase. I typed and printed out all the information I need to put on the board and also became creative and made fancy borders on all the information. Also, I believe that the color scheme I chose really embellishes my topic and will give the board a sophisticated look. My goal for the following week is to finish my original work and to create my final presentation board. Also, I hope to add more personality to my digital portfolio and make it look more appealing.
